The Hitchcock Economic Development Corporation is a non-profit organization existing to promote job growth through recruitment and retention services. The EDC was founded as a 4A Corporation, utilizing a ½ cent sales tax that was approved by the voters of Hitchcock. Its administration is led by its five member board and its staff. Hitchcock offers prime locations along Hwy 6 and FM 2004 with easy access to both the Port of Galveston and the Port of Houston. An Abundance of commercial property and an International Free Trade Zone truly set our community apart within Galveston County.
