About HKGi
HKGi is a Minneapolis-based Planning and Landscape Architecture consulting firm. We conduct community-inspired design and planning, and our mission is to help our clients achieve their objectives. We succeed when our clients succeed. Our planning and design approach is based on four core principles: Collaborate, Listen, Explore and Create. Our clients include cities, counties, regional planning organizations, and developers. Our markets include the Twin Cities metro, Greater Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Our project work includes comprehensive planning, park system planning, park and trail planning and design, redevelopment and downtown planning, streetscape and public space planning and design, development services, site master planning and design, design guidelines development, and zoning and regulatory tools development. Community engagement is the foundation of our planning process. Our planners and landscape architects are skilled facilitators who also bring the creativity, technical expertise, and knowledge necessary to create innovative plans and designs to help communities prepare for their future growth and development.
