About Holistic Counselling Victoria

Holistic Counselling Victoria is the creation of Ocean Lum, as a holistic therapist (MA Counselling Psychology) whose work emphasizes the convergence of Science, Psychology, and Spirituality. Current findings in quantum physics and the ancient teachings of Yoga emphasize the mind-body continuum. The research on neuroscience, trauma, and mindfulness indicates that Counselling, Yoga, and Meditation are profound methodologies for personal change and transformation. Ocean can help you with your personal and professional challenges. Her clinical practice rests on the foundation of unconditional positive regard (Carl Rogers). Other modalities used are Somatic Experiencing, Trauma, cognitive behavioural therapy, neuroscience, and somatic-based therapies. Her expertise and specialty is a holistic approach that combines talk therapy, somatic inquiry, neuroscience, and mindfulness to help you with Depression, Stress/Anxiety, Grief/Loss, Suicide, Relationship issues, Gender Transitioning, and Existential issues. As a Mindset Coach, Ocean helps people excel in their personal and professional goals by uncovering limiting beliefs and by reframing and replacing them with supportive and life-enhancing perspectives. Coaching is more pro-active and directive than therapeutic counselling. It’s about providing tools, strategies, and exercises that help clients overcome limiting beliefs and unhelpful behaviours. People are having fantastic results with Ocean's 12-week online program. The course, "Open Heart, Open Minds", has literally changed lives!
