HELD Australia is the national membership organisation for End of Life Doulas and holistic death-care practitioners. We support a diverse and growing workforce dedicated to improving the experience of dying, death and bereavement for individuals, families and communities. We provide: • professional development and learning opportunities • community connection and peer support • sector-wide collaboration and networking • advocacy to strengthen recognition of holistic end-of-life and death care • information and resources for members and stakeholders Our work reflects a shared belief that every person deserves safety, dignity, choice and compassionate support at the end of life. We champion inclusive and culturally safe practice and support both professional and community-based care providers. As interest in End of Life Doulas continues to grow across aged care, palliative care, community care and funeral services, HELD plays a key role in fostering collaboration and building confidence in this emerging workforce.
