About Holy Family College of Health Sciences

Holy Family College of Health Sciences is a nonprofit making organization owned by the Catholic Church of the Blantyre Archdiocese under The Christian Health of Malawi (CHAM). The College was established in 1963 by the Medical Missionary of Mary Sisters. It was established with an aim of training nurses who in turn work for Holy Family Hospital. Currently the college has three programs namely Nurse Midwife Technicians (NMT), Pharmacy Assistants and Community Midwifery Assistants. The vision of the college is to be a preferred CHAM college of health sciences in Malawi. Its mission is to endeavor to train competent healthcare professionals through its dedicated academic and support staff, advanced learning technologies and favorable learning environment. The values of the organization are professionalism, teamwork, accountability, innovativeness, respect for catholic teachings and Christian moral values.
