About Home in Place New Zealand

Home in Place is a not-for-profit, regulated Community Housing Provider (CHP) delivering a new model of social and affordable housing and tenancy services in Aotearoa. Our work spans the Auckland region, the lower and central North Island and Nelson Tasman, where we provide specialist tenancy and property management services. Our place-based approach to tenancy and property management services, focuses on improving the social and economic circumstances of our residents, as well as the communities in which they live. Home in Place offers a range of community development activities for residents designed to foster social inclusion and personal development. Our focus on empowerment and support is a major contributor to our high resident satisfaction levels over the ten years of our operation. Home in Place has established a solid platform on which to build future growth. We have formed strong and productive relationships with the Ministry of Social Development (MSD), Ministry of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and other key government agencies, and the private sector to increase the range and quality of affordable housing options across New Zealand. Our partnerships with the Ted Manson Foundation and Soho Developments have seen the delivery of mixed tenure, mixed use developments across Auckland and into regional New Zealand.
