About Home Performance Guild of Oregon

Mission & Vision The Home Performance Guild of Oregon’s (HPG’s) mission is to help home performance professionals build a more climate-resilient and economically equitable Oregon. Our vision is an Oregon where home energy efficiency provides living-wage careers for people of color and low-income Oregonians, and where all residents have healthy, efficient homes. Our History HPG began as a small network of local contractors and has grown into a statewide nonprofit dedicated to advancing healthy, energy-efficient homes. As an Oregon 501(c)(3) organization, HPG connects contractors, partners, and emerging professionals through education, collaboration, and shared values. Together, we’re working to lower energy costs, improve comfort, and build a more sustainable future-one home and one contractor at a time. Our Impact We work to strengthen Oregon’s home performance community by growing our members’ skills and businesses, reducing energy burdens, and supporting healthier, more efficient homes for all Oregonians. Through our efforts, home performance professionals are empowered to: - Build pathways for the next generation by mentoring emerging professionals and expanding the industry’s talent pipeline. - Feel a strong sense of belonging and support within a connected, values-driven community. - Grow resilient, thriving businesses that provide stability for themselves, their families, and their employees. - See their role in shaping the industry and feel empowered to influence healthier, more energy-efficient communities. - Contribute to meaningful climate, health, and equity outcomes through high-quality residential energy retrofit work.
