About Homeless Solutions Coalition of Clackamas County

Homeless Solutions Coalition of Clackamas County (HSCCC) is a grassroots nonprofit with strong volunteer leadership and hundreds of community supporters with participants from diverse community groups, including people with lived houseless experience, educators, business leaders, healthcare professionals, faith-based organizations, law enforcement and city and county government representatives. We were formed in 2016 by a small group of Clackamas County Residents who wanted to learn more about how they could support our unhoused neighbors. Our mission is to inspire, motivate, and empower our community to develop and implement solutions to homelessness in Clackamas County. In 2023, HSCCC embarked on a journey to help prevent homelessness and make it rare, brief, and nonrecurring—one of our most ambitious initiatives being the creation of Caring Place, a collaborative project that stands alongside many other community-driven solutions we support.
