About Homes Within Reach

Homes Within Reach delivers Flexi Rapid Homes — high-quality, relocatable housing solutions designed to help councils reduce reliance on high-cost temporary accommodation while retaining long-term flexibility over land use. Our homes can be delivered within a six-month programme, installed with minimal groundworks, and relocated or removed if future land requirements change. Alongside housing delivery, we operate a structured, supervised employment model, providing paid work and skills development opportunities for NEET participants and individuals on approved day release. This approach supports rehabilitation, employability, and long-term outcomes while contributing directly to project delivery and site stewardship. Homes Within Reach was formed through a formal partnership between Bloxi, a specialist construction and shipping-container conversion business, and Make Time Count, a social enterprise working across the criminal justice sector to reduce reoffending through employment, skills, and innovation. Together, we offer councils a practical, lower-risk pilot model that: Can be delivered within a six-month programme Requires no permanent groundworks Is fully relocatable and reversible Costs less than nightly-paid hotel accommodation Creates measurable social value alongside housing delivery We work in partnership with local authorities, aligning design, planning, operations, and outcomes to local needs. Our focus is on delivery, learning from pilots, and proving what works.
