About Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council 香港青年工業家協會 (HKYIC)

香港青年工業家協會於1989年開始籌組成立，並於1992年正式註冊。主要成員為每年香港工業總會主辦，並由政府高官、工商界領袖、大學校長組成的評審團選出的「香港青年工業家獎」歷屆獲獎者，以及小部份傑出的年輕企業家。本會成員時值盛年，是一批跨世紀、有朝氣並具一定經濟實力和社會影響力的青年工業家。會員特點：一、年輕，獲獎年齡在45歲或以前，會員平均約51歲；二、均具有一定經濟實力和管理經驗的企業家；三、均為香港各行業商會的領袖；四、愛國、愛港、關心社會。本會在歷屆會長的領導下，團結了青年實業家在香港和內地發展事業，為內地及本港兩地的經濟繁榮作出不少貢獻，受到社會各界的認同和讚譽，被譽為香港新崛起的一支工商力量。迄今，香港青年工業家協會共有140多位會員。隨著每年不斷有「香港青年工業家獎」得獎精英加入，本會會員人數、代表性及發展潛力，均在不斷加強。到目前為止，本會全部會員皆有在內地投資。據非正式統計，本會會員在內地投資的企業，主要有電子、家庭電器、機械、塑膠、五金、化工、紡織、服裝、珠寶首飾、鐘錶、眼鏡、玩具、食品、電訊及資訊科技等行業。估計會員在香港及內地僱用的員工達到100萬人，每年總產值超過2,000億港元，上市公司逾50間。本會致力團結香港工商界友好，凝聚各方力量。會員在推動香港工業發展的同時，亦不忘回饋社會，熱心公益及關心國家大事，積極參與內地及本港的社會和慈善活動，如辦學、辦醫、救災、扶貧等工作，為內地及本港的社會穩定貢獻良多。
