About Hooker Family Foundation
Hooker Family Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering children with education. Ana & Janusz Hooker lead the organisation, both passionate in continuing the Hooker family’s culture of giving back to the community. We have established HFF in Australia with a DGR Item 1 status and the HFF USA with 501c3 tax-deductible status. Our programs started in Cambodia and India. Today, our main focus is the initiatives in Australia. We manage and deliver Kids to Coast, the flagship program which offers schools and communities a vehicle to encourage their young people to stay in school, enjoy learning and achieve great results. Kids to Coast is an educational exchange for Indigenous and non-Indigenous young Australians, which develops a stronger and wiser next generation of leaders, by bridging the cultural divide and building lifetime friendships. We work with schools, community leaders, and our partners, to deliver quality educational incentive programs for students in Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory. Our partners help us with on the ground connections, funding or in-kind contributions as well as helping us deliver a robust program. We believe that education lays the foundations to create positive, healthy and sustainable communities.
