About HOPE FOR STREET CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE PEOPLE FOUNDATION {HOPLE)
Hope for Street Children & Vulnerable People Foundation (HOPLE) is a registered non-governmental, non-political, and non-religious organization based in Damaturu, Yobe State. Established in 2018 and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC No. 171826) in 2022, HOPLE was born out of a personal commitment to support the most vulnerable members of society particularly orphans, women, children, and persons living with disabilities. Over the years, HOPLE has earned a reputation for impactful grassroots work in protection, education, WASH, health and nutrition, peace building, and emergency relief. We have implemented diverse humanitarian and developmental programs in partnership with leading organizations such as USAID/IOM, UNDP, Carifika International Organization, UNFPA, Save the Children, Plan International, Islamic Ummah Relief (IUR), Yobe State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), and Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (YOSEMA) among others. Our recent collaboration with UNFPA provided 200 dignity kits to displaced women and girls in Gujba and Tarmuwa LGAs of Yobe State, coupled with awareness sessions on GBV prevention, mitigation, and PSEA, ensuring dignity, protection, and safety for affected women and girls. Vision HOPLE envisions empowering and educating underprivileged people, especially children and persons living with disability because education is the only way to guarantee a better future.
