About Hopeful Nkomo Mental Health Organization

Hopeful Nkomo Mental Health Organization is made up of a team of psychologists, psychiatrist and counsellors with a mission to provide affordable and accessible mental health care solutions to people. We offer in person and virtual one on one counselling session, couples counselling, continued professional development training, mental health workshops and community wellness activities such as pottery, art therapy and yoga. Phase 1 of our solution to mental health care gaps include a website where clients can book appointments, speak to a mental health first aid responder "THE LISTENER(yet to be launched) and engage in person or virtual wellness activities. Phase 2 involves "The Hopeful Space" a platform that will be available on iOS and android to provide mental health solutions on a wider platform. (In progress) In 2021 Hopeful Nkomo was one of three selected startups representing Ghana for the Lafiya Immersion Week in Basel, Switzerland. In 2022, Hopeful Nkomo was selected and sponsored by Impact Hub Basel & Impact Hub Geneva for the 2022 Geneva Health Forum held In Switzerland.
