About Hospice Calgary & Children's Grief Centre

Hospice Calgary is a recognized leader in end-of-life care and grief support, and is the only organization in Southern Alberta that specializes in child and adolescent grief. We are one organization with three centres of care: The Children’s Grief Centre supports families with children aged 19 and under as they adjust to the changes in their lives when someone close to them has died. Our Osten-Victor Living with Advanced Illness Centre supports clients of all ages living with an advanced illness, or those who have someone close to them living with an advanced illness (family member, close friend, etc.). Services include individual and family counselling, online workshops, and volunteer support. Rosedale Hospice offers a life-affirming alternative to hospitalization or dying at home, focusing on quality of life. Located in the Northwest Calgary community of Rosedale, it is a seven-bed hospice in a quiet, peaceful home for adults with cancer. Wherever you access our services, we promise to journey with you, through end-of-life and grief, as long as you need us. We promise to have the difficult conversations about death, dying and grief, hearing your unique story and responding with compassion.
