About Hotel UMi Tulum

Welcome to UMi, a sanctuary nestled between the ocean's rhythmic waves and the jungle's vibrant embrace in Tulum. Our name reflects the fusion of cultures that converge on these Mayan grounds, creating a space where diversity is celebrated. At UMi, luxury is not confined to opulence but extends to space, time, and personal connection. It's an intimate experience tailored to each guest's definition. Whether you seek lively parties, serene wellness activities, or delightful cooking classes, UMi offers a haven where relaxation and rejuvenation coexist. We embrace change, believing in the power of self-discovery. Our passion lies in exceptional hospitality, creating a safe, inspiring environment, and celebrating diverse cultures. We attract those who see vacations as chapters in life’s adventure—educated minds, open hearts, and a desire to connect. Our ethos is rooted in Philosophical Hedonism, where pleasure is a long-term pursuit. Our philosophy of reciprocal care echoes the African saying, “I am because we are.” This ethos is embodied in our members-only venue, where a profound sense of belonging transcends traditional hospitality. Art is the heartbeat of UMi, from culinary masterpieces to nature, dance, and minimalist design. We view life as an art form, where simplicity speaks volumes. UMi is not just a destination but a narrative shaped by the ocean, the jungle, and kindred spirits. Here, the journey is as extraordinary as the destination—a place where mysticism meets minimalism, and the art of living is a continuous masterpiece.
