About HOUF Games

HOUF Games is an independent board game publisher creating games that combine curiosity, knowledge, and engaging gameplay. Our mission is simple: transform fascinating real-world topics into fun and memorable game experiences. Our Nice to Know series explores the wonders of our world through beautifully designed cards and accessible gameplay. The first titles, Nice to Know! Animals and Nice to Know! Cosmos, introduce players to unique species, space objects, and surprising facts in an interactive way. Alongside board games, HOUF develops collectible knowledge card series and social card games such as Long Live the Captain, designed for fast, exciting group play. Beyond physical games, we are also building digital expansions that extend our game worlds with richer content, broader collections, and interactive learning experiences. Based in the UK, HOUF Games collaborates with designers, researchers, and creators to build games that spark curiosity and bring people together. Play. Discover. Share.
