About Houghton Kneale Design Ltd

HKD are experts in museum design. At HKD we genuinely love stories – especially those that have previously been untold or neglected. Transforming these sometimes intangible pieces of cultural heritage into a space or exhibit that inspires and involves an audience is what we do best. HKD creates spaces which extend cultural access and social interaction, which allow museums to have an ongoing communication with their audiences. We work within a network of creative people: specialist museum designers, graphic designers, artists, writers, researchers, content developers, audio visual producers, sculptors, audience and community consultants, architects and model makers – to provide the best results for your project.
