About Hua Xia Chinese School Manchester

Huaxia Chinese School is a UK registered charity offering Chinese language (Mandarin) and culture education on Sundays for children. It is the largest of its kind in Greater Manchester area, classes range from beginners to Chinese GCSE, AS and A2 levels. As a registered exam centre, the School offers Edexcel exam service for Chinese GCSE, AS and A2. The School is located in Mansfield Cooper Building and Samuel Alexandra Building of the University of Manchester in its Oxford Road campus. It is supported by the University and Manchester City Council. The School was awarded the Overseas Chinese Language Education Model School status By the Chinese State Council in 2009, one of the first three Chinese Schools in the UK being awarded the title. In the UK’s Quality Framework for Supplementary Schools, the School has achieved gold award, which reflects the School’s high standard.
