Hudson Valley Fisheries (HVF), a 160,000 square foot indoor aquaculture facility in Hudson, New York, uses the latest recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) technology to raise nutrient-rich steelhead trout. With complete egg to plate transparency, the facility serves customers in the Northeast, offering delivery of head-on, gutted and filleted steelhead along with artisanal cold- and hot-smoked varieties. Steelhead is a species of salmonid native to cold-water tributaries in the Pacific. HVF is Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certified and rated Best Choice by the Monterey Bay Seafood Watch program.
