HUGGS Inc. is a Missouri City, Texas–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit operating a regional, referral-based household stabilization system across Harris, Fort Bend, and Brazoria Counties. Specializing in Multi-Family Fire (MFF) and disaster recovery response, HUGGS converts active cases into fully stabilized households within an average of 10 business days. Through a verified, case-managed voucher system, HUGGS delivers essential furnishings and recovery support with full transparency, audit-ready documentation, and measurable outcomes. To date, HUGGS has stabilized 100+ households in under 160 days, working in coordination with partners including the American Red Cross.
