About Humap: the digital humanities map platform
We're the map platform built for research, teaching, community, and cultural projects. Our clients are primarily in the cultural and higher ed sectors, using Humap to transform large amounts of complex data into digestible, interactive resources. These include exhibits of archival collections, citizen science crowdsourcing initiatives, mapping oral histories, classroom projects, and community outreach. On Humap you can create and present quantitative spatial data alongside qualitative data and multimedia assets, including 3D scans and IIIF embeds. You can collaborate across locations and disciplines, and invite the world to take part with our crowdsourcing tools. We put user experience front and centre. Humap requires no knowledge of coding or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) - just log in and start creating. You don’t have to download anything and it works across devices.
