About Humble Heroes of FDNY

Humble Heroes of FDNY is a section 100% volunteer based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in NY. It started 6 years ago by members of the FDNY and their families – and is now officially sponsored by the Fire Department of New York City. Humble Heroes is a group of committed volunteers joining forces to achieve one common goal – to lift the spirits of ill and grieving children. Disguised as the most famous heroes of our time, we visit local hospitals and grief centers, bringing joy to kids fighting life’s injustices. Our mantra, “Anyone can be someone’s hero.”
