About Hunya Munya Records

Hunya Munya is an independent record label and music publishing company founded in 2002, with a 20+ year catalog spanning ambient, electronic, and experimental music. Home to artists including Rykard, whose track 'Arrive the Radio Beacon' has surpassed 25 million streams, the label has released vinyl, digital, and licensed work across global platforms since its earliest days. What began as a small operation focused on high-quality audio for visual media has grown into a full-service label and publishing company, with releases distributed worldwide and a back catalog now being curated and restored for streaming. Hunya Munya operates from Los Angeles under Hunya Munya Publishing USA LLC, with continued focus on long-term artist development, vinyl releases, and selective sync licensing. The label remains artist-first and independent by design.
