About Hygge Hotel Brussels

Velkommen | Välkommen | Tervetuloa | Welcome to Hotel Hygge In the heart of Brussels, Hotel Hygge brings the Scandinavian art of cosy living to life. Inspired by the Danish concept of “hygge”—the pursuit of simple pleasures, comfort, and togetherness—this boutique hotel offers a universe of well-being, warmth, and design. Created by Brussels-based designer Michel Penneman, the interiors reflect the elegance of Scandinavian design: clean lines, natural wood, wool, ceramics, and soft colors that invite guests to slow down and enjoy life’s small luxuries. Communal spaces feature rocking chairs, hanging plants, and warm lighting, creating a cocooning atmosphere that feels more like a stylish Nordic home than a hotel. With a choice of Relax Rooms and Cozy Rooms, each equipped with modern comforts such as flat-screen TVs and ultra-fast fiber optic WiFi, Hotel Hygge makes it easy to stay connected while feeling completely at ease. Rooms are intimate and welcoming, decorated in muted tones and furnished with Scandinavian simplicity, creating the perfect base for your Brussels stay. Start your day with an international breakfast buffet, reflecting the hotel’s cosmopolitan spirit. Whether you are in Brussels for business or leisure, the Louise area—just steps away—offers a lively mix of shopping, dining, art, and nightlife. From chocolate shops like Pierre Marcolini to luxury boutiques, from Egmont Park to the panoramic views at the Palais de Justice, everything is within walking distance. Hotel Hygge embodies the essence of modern Scandinavian lifestyle: comfort, relaxation, indulgence, presence, and simplicity. It’s a space where guests can forget the city’s rush and instead embrace quiet moments of warmth—whether by candlelight, in a velvet chair, or while enjoying the company of loved ones. At Hotel Hygge, happiness is found in the details. Welcome to your Scandinavian-inspired home in Brussels.
