Definitions... Alzie: a high functioning individual who has been diagnosed with some form of dementia, but continues to lead a normal life with the support of their Pilots and Co-Pilots. Pilot: primary caretaker for the Alzie. They are there to help with daily life tasks that may become challenging such as meal prep. Often is a significant other. Co-pilot: secondary caretakers that help out once or twice a week to give the Pilot some time off.
