About i911

Did you know that over 90% of boaters in need of emergency assistance are within cellphone range? As an official program of the U.S. Coast Guard, i911 is taking the "search" out of search and rescue by quickly pinpointing the locations of distressed mariners’ phones to bring them home safely. i911 is a free service that does not require the installation of an app and acts only with the boater’s consent.
