About IATF FRANCE

IATF France, was established in 2008 as official Oversight Offices of the International Automotive Task Force (IATF), responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving the IATF 16949 certification scheme in the automotive sector. As part of the IATF Global Oversight structure, our mission is to: • Coordinating with other IATF oversight offices to ensure the integrity, consistency, and global recognition of the IATF 16949 certification scheme. • Monitor and support IATF-recognized certification bodies and third-party auditors. • Supporting the IATF in pursuing global harmonization with stakeholders in the automotive sector. • Develop and communicate interpretations, rules, and sanctioned updates to the IATF standard (e.g. Rules 6th Edition, SIs, FAQs). We are committed to promoting excellence in quality management systems across the global automotive industry, with a focus on customer satisfaction, risk-based thinking, and continual improvement. IATF France is a non-profit association (Law 1901) whose voting members are: FIEV Renault Group Stellantis Volvo Group, and has Sernauto as an associate member. It is also a member of the AEC (Spanish Association for Quality), reflecting its commitment to partnering with organizations that bring added value, expertise, and dedication to the strategy of IATF France.
