About IBB Netzwerk GmbH

The IBB Netzwerk GmbH, based in Munich, is a network and service organization in the fields of industrial biotechnology and sustainable bioeconomy. Our goal is to transfer scientific knowledge into marketable products and processes. We manage private and publicly funded networks such as SusMat and Food&Nutrition and support our partners in the development and implementation of research and development projects. In addition, we promote the formation of project consortia, find partners, organize project meetings, provide input for proposals, and act as an interface between partners and project sponsors. Since 2020, we manage the "Industrial Biotechnology" cluster platform, which has over 180 members, as part of the Bavarian Cluster Initiative. Our network promotes technology transfer and enhances the visibility of our members through events, workshops, and public relations activities.
