About IBEW Local 640

It pays to work union. Far more than “having a job,” being an IBEW electrician means having a career with a great wage, health insurance, pension, and opportunity for advancement. All without the often crippling burden of college tuition debt. When you join the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, you also benefit from the brotherhood and strong sense of “community” that has been an IBEW tradition for more than 125 years.
