About IBSTAC Architects & Planners

IBSTAC Architects & Planners is an architecture and planning consultancy established in 2012, with its professional foundation rooted in IBST – the Institute for Building Science and Technology. Over more than a decade of independent development, IBSTAC has focused on delivering high-complexity projects aligned with international standards, particularly in high-rise buildings, 5-star hospitality, and urban planning. We believe that most project failures do not originate during construction, but from incorrect decisions made at the early stages of planning and design. For this reason, IBSTAC approaches every project as a structured system problem—where solutions are developed through a clear understanding of the problem, constraints, objectives, and long-term operational performance. Rather than positioning ourselves as a conventional design service provider, IBSTAC is committed to transforming practical experience into applicable industry knowledge. Each project is treated as a case study, each solution as a repeatable principle, and each completed work as a reference standard for future developments. This approach enables us not only to deliver effective outcomes for individual clients, but also to contribute to raising the overall standards of architecture and planning in Vietnam. IBSTAC is building towards becoming a knowledge-driven architecture firm, where developers, investors, and international partners come not only for design solutions, but for a deeper understanding of what defines an efficient and sustainable project. Our core services include high-rise architectural design, international-standard hospitality design, urban and master planning, and local consultancy for projects involving global collaboration. With a foundation in real-world experience, system-based thinking, and long-term development orientation, IBSTAC does not aim to be the largest design firm, but to be one of the most influential in terms of professional standards and industry in
