ICATT - International Critical Care Air Transfer Team is a specialized Air Ambulance service that helps with the aero-medical transfers of critically ill patients, accident victims, victims of natural disasters and internal organs. ICATT was co-founded by Dr Shalini Nalwad and Dr Rahul Singh Sardar. Both these doctors are UK trained Intensive care consultants, who have super specialized in Aero-medical services with substantial experience in this field, in the UK. They have relocated back to India with the sole purpose of establishing the HEMS – Helicopter Emergency Medical Service ICATT’s Goal is to introduce and build the infrastructure for HEMS in India. In its mission to accomplish this goal, ICATT has started training India’s Best Medical Emergencies Doctors & Pramedics (www.fameducation.in) from across India in pre-hospital emergency medicine and Aero Medical Rapid response. What is FAM / DAM? FAM is the only dedicated, structured training program on HEMS, founded by doctors and delivered by the best is the world. The 12-month course(Online and hands-on training), has been created and managed by Doctors and is offered in collaboration with ICATT and Global Health Alliance. FAM is a highly specialized training program for Doctors and (DAM)paramedics with career goals in Advanced Emergency Medicine, Transit Medical Care, Anesthesia, Critical care, Trauma care and Aero medical services.
