About IDE Academy

Shape the Next Generation of STEM Leaders Solving real-world problems will require agile thinkers with diverse perspectives and life experiences, and an ability to identify and acquire the new, yet unknown knowledge needed to operate and create tomorrow’s technologies and industries. At the same time, our educational system risks growing increasingly out of step with the needs of life and work in the 21st century. Invention Education offers a powerful approach to bridge this gap. IDE’s mission is to shape the next generation of STEM leaders and empower educators to be innovative and entrepreneurial. IDE equips students from as young as 5 years of age up to post-secondary level with a powerful start, to develop a lifelong passion for STEM. IDE rewards the emerging inventors’ journey and success at the annual Singapore National Invention Convention(SGICW) celebration event. Since 2019-2020, twenty young emerging inventors have won Global Impact Originality awards, Global Change awards and Forward Thinking Inventiveness award at the National and Globals Conventions. From January 2021, Temasek Polytechnic is now the official knowledge partner to IDE, mentoring the young emerging inventors to reinvent their future.
