About IDE | Energy Institute of the Province of Buenos Aires

The Energy Institute is a specialized Institution, which, within the FREBA, is integrated with the participation of representatives of the FORO and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Services, seeking among its objectives the training and education of workers in the electricity sector. In October 2014, the REGIONAL ELECTRICAL FORUM OF THE PROVINCE OF BUENOS AIRES -FREBA- together with the Secretary of Public Services, signed the Addenda to the Cooperation Agreement approved by Resolution MI No. 827/09. Through it, they reestablished state participation in the specialized Institute created within the scope of FREBA, for the development of technical activities and programs in the search and dissemination of management practices in the electricity sector, agreeing to carry out training plans and technical training . Currently, the Energy Institute has for its management a Board of Directors made up of representatives appointed by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Services and by FREBA, who will be in charge of monitoring and fulfilling the objectives pursued by the Institute, as well as as your Management Program.
