About Identec Limited

We are a UK manufacturer of safe and secure, performance-driven, touch-free radio frequency identification (RFID) systems for commercial and industrial use. Based in County Durham in the UK, for nearly 40 years we have pioneered the design and manufacturer of our own RFID systems, and our touch-tree products are now used worldwide. These verified and trusted auto ID products control access, track assets, and manage the movement of people, places, and things, simply by their proximity to one of our devices, providing safe and secure working environments. We invest heavily in the research and development of our core technology and in the protection of our intellectual property. Our RFID touch-free pioneering technology is used across a range of applications bringing the benefits of increasing efficiency, reducing errors, and improving quality, adding speed, accuracy, efficiency, and security to your operations. Applications range from safety registration, asset tracking, time & attendance registration to sports timing. The top 5 applications of Identec RFID technology are Access Control, Hygiene, Car Parking, Safety, and Asset Tagging, however, there are many more bespoke applications – talk to us about your needs to determine if RFID could be a solution for your business.
