About IETL Institute for European Traffic Law

The institute was set up in 2003 having its registered office in Luxembourg since June 2011 and concerns itself with developments in the field of insurance law, the law on liability, on compensation and general traffic law in the European Union. It seeks to promote training and further education and an interchange of expert knowledge and practical experience in all areas of traffic law. To this end, seminars, training courses and colloquia are organised, in addition to the European Traffic Law Days. It is a Platform for discussion of current developments in European Union legislation and recent judgments. L’institut se consacre au développement du droit des assurances, de la responsabilité civile, des dommages et intérêts, et des transports dans l’Union européenne. Il contribue à la formation continue et à l’échange des connaissances scientifiques ainsi qu’aux expériences pratiques dans tous les domaines du droit de la circulation. Dans ce but, il organise des séminaires et des cours et organise les Journées Européennes sur le Droit européen de la circulation. C’est aussi un forum au sein duquel les évolutions récentes de la législation et de la jurisprudence dans l’Union européenne sont discutées.
