About IGL SURVEYING LIMITED

IGL are a small, yet highly professional practice of chartered building surveyors, design & construction consultants based in Blackburn, Lancashire. As such we provide services within Greater Manchester and the Northwest area but do work further afield when the need arises. IGL Surveying Ltd have a long history of delivering high standard of services to the Social Housing sector. In particular we specialise in refurbishment of existing housing stock, redesigning for uses, adapting for specific end users or simply investigating and remdying defects for Housing Associations. In addition to this, we also work with the Salvation Army, helping with their Northern portfolio. We are also able to assist private residential and commercial clients, undertaking traditional surveys, professional services (Party Wall / Expert Witness / Dilapidations etc.), or helping provide the same refurbishment services we provide to our regular clients. We place great emphasis on the quality of service we provide to our clients, together with the training and development of staff. This includes the maintenance and development of excellent client relationships, which has resulted in repeat commissions from a core of key clients.  Please see below for a full list of the services we provide.
