About Ilmor Engineering Ltd.

For over thirty years Ilmor has been best known for designing, developing and manufacturing high performance race engines for Formula 1 and IndyCar. Racing remains the core part of our business today and Ilmor acts as a consultant for motorsport clients from all forms of racing. However, the business is now using its racing expertise in other areas such as OEM automotive, electrification, defence and marine. Clients can take advantage of our skills and resources for a turnkey solution right through from concept to delivery, or use any one of our specialised services, such as design, manufacturing or testing. Our approach can also be individually tailored from complete engines or eMotors, down to single components. Ilmor has a dedicated Advanced Projects group to cover this area of the business and so with our state-of-the-art facility and highly skilled team we are able to turn our hand to any customer powertrain project and indeed virtually any mechanical engineering application. Our solutions are geared towards compact, lightweight, cost effective and high performance products. So whether it’s an original concept, or an innovative solution to a problem on an existing product, our clients have come to associate the name of Ilmor with both excellence and flair. Ilmor Engineering is ISO9001 and AS9100 accredited
