About Image Science

Image Science is specialised in advanced image processing and image analysis of large and complex data sets. Image Science started to work in (cryo) electron microscopy (image processing, image analysis, classification, 3D-reconstruction...), but the developed software and methodologies are also used in many other fields of image and data processing and analysis. Our latest developments are in the field of information theory with impacts on measuring information content in images, the quality of detectors and related applications.
