iMark was established with one core purpose—to help enterprising organizations grow their organization through effective marketing. The goal at imark is to create market understanding with everyone who touches the brand. Everyone does marketing, not just the marketing department. imark believes in speaking in lay terms and defining actionable plans. Start with business goals (and get the accountants involved with defining them). Develop your audience profiles (and write them in the language that your customers speak). Define strategies to reach each audience (and never, ever ignore the ideas of those who work closest to the audience). Create the right mix of promotion, public relations and interactive that informs and engages people to connect with your brand. And consistently monitor and refine (look at customer e-mails and never underestimate the power of web 2.0).
