About Impact Nexus Africa

Impact Nexus Africa is an Africa-led advisory and convening platform focused on recalibrating markets to enable sustainable transitions in health, climate, and development finance. We work with governments, multilateral agencies, philanthropies, and market actors to design, finance, and execute transition transactions, shifting systems away from donor dependence toward domestically financed, climate-resilient models. In a context of tightening global aid and fragmented financing, Impact Nexus plays a distinct role as a trusted convener. We bring together public, philanthropic, and private stakeholders to address structural misalignments in markets, where incentives, pricing, and financing mechanisms no longer serve country priorities or long-term sustainability. Our work combines: 1. Market shaping to correct distortions and unlock efficiency 2. Transition financing to support governments through complex handovers 3. Transaction design that translates political intent into bankable, executable solutions Founded in 2025, Impact Nexus responds to the realities of the development aid transition era. Our leadership team brings deep experience across health systems reform, medicines and product markets, climate-health integration, and large-scale negotiations, collectively contributing to over USD 6 billion in negotiated savings and market efficiencies. As a Southern-founded, Africa-led firm, we operate with discretion, technical rigor, and political economy awareness, supporting partners to move from dialogue to durable, system-level change.
