About in College Consulting

We collaborate with high school students to transform the college admissions process from a potentially stressful experience into a pleasant one. Beginning as early as freshman year, we provide counsel on high school curriculum and extracurricular activities, serving as a resource throughout students’ high school years. When students are ready to begin looking at colleges, we guide them in evaluating their priorities and choosing colleges and potential majors. We help them manage the many moving parts of today’s college admissions process, which has significantly evolved from the simple matter of “filling out a few forms'' and maybe writing an essay or two. We help students craft original, compelling essays that highlight their distinctive voices and navigate complex application requirements by developing an optimal, individualized application strategy. With a proven track record, we excel in helping students showcase their unique qualities in applications. We stay current on the latest admissions trends, and our collective knowledge enables us to provide up-to-date guidance during each successive admissions cycle. We build deep, personal connections with students and take great pride in helping them find best-fit colleges where they will thrive. Our objectivity enables us to see students in the context of their peers and encourage them to focus on attributes that will help their applications stand out. Our close relationships with students allow us to help them highlight their special qualities and demonstrate how they will contribute value to a college community. We understand that this once-in-a-lifetime process involves a significant financial investment and a great deal of uncertainty. We know families find immense value in investing in personalized assistance in helping to navigate this confusing process. We recognize the importance of finding a best-fit college, and we love supporting and guiding our students through this journey from beginning to end.
