About Indésens Calliope Records

Since its creation, Indésens has produced the best of wind chamber music with the greatest worldwide soloists. The record company has also specia- lized in tonal contemporary music with artists such as Karol Beffa, Thierry Escaich, Henri Dutilleux, Nicolas Bacri, Guillaume Connesson, and Laurent Lefrançois. After a few years of existence, Indésens acquired a portion of the Calliope label, re-releasing and remastering numerous albums while develo- ping the brand and integrating a new Baroque branch, notably with Vincent Bernhardt. For some time now, the same teams have been working on the Indésens and Calliope labels to produce the best independent classical music in France. In order to provide clarity while maintaining the unique DNA of each label, we have decided to merge the two brands into one entity, becoming Indé- SENS Calliope Records. We are thus creating a new entity with solid foundations, but resolutely mo- dern in its approach to work with the artists!
