About Indian Film Festival of Cincinnati -Ohio "Engage Diverisity Through Film"

The Indian film festival of Cincinnati is the only Indian Film Festival in Cincinnati and Ohio. The festival is organized and hosted by the India Cincinnati Sister cities in collaboration with the Art Museum.,Esquire and Mariemont Theaters We screen premieres of feature, documentary and short films made in and about the Indian subcontinent or it's people or made by Indians. The films feature stories that cut across cultures and engage our common humanity. The festival will have three days of screenings and post-screening discussions and award ceremonies. In 2018 our Festival supports films about or from the South Asian diaspora and continent. All of our films are spoken or subtitled in English. Our Mission: To engage diversity through Film. To bring understanding and reflection to the common human values that bind us in spite of our diversity. Our Goal: To bring media attention and packed audiences in order to build an awareness of independent Indian cinema, and to entertain & introduce North Americans to India, it's peoples and it's rich heritage and diversity. Our Cause: To use net proceeds of our ticket sales to create scholarships that assist high school students in need to take part in the Youth Ambassador Program of the India Sister City
