About Indian Society of Calgary

Indian Society of Calgary (ISC) is a registered non-profit organization under the Canada Nonprofit Corporation Act. ISC seeks to offer a unified platform for all Indians and Canadians of Indian origin living in Calgary. Our mission includes social, economic and cultural integration of newcomers and immigrants into mainstream Canadian life. As an immigrant serving organization that addresses the needs of newcomers and immigrants to Alberta, we also seek to promote and facilitate cross cultural exchange between the newcomers and the larger communities that welcome them. ISC has been active since 2017 and was incorporated in 2021. ISC recognizes the importance of newcomers to the province of Alberta and the communities which they live. The organization plays a vital role in assisting newcomers to reach their full potential and contribute to the overall success of Alberta's communities. We aim to provide a common platform for Calgarians who share a common interest in meeting fellow Indians and overcoming the nuances of cultural differences to acquaint themselves with one another beyond regional ethnicity. Through various cultural programs, festivals, and events, we strive to preserve and promote the rich and diverse Indian culture. Join us today to be part of this vibrant community!
