About Indianapolis Jazz Foundation

Indianapolis Jazz Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that celebrates Indy's rich jazz heritage and promotes the future of jazz in Indianapolis through education and performance. Jazz is an American art form because it celebrates freedom, equality, and individual expression within a collective effort. Every year, the Indianapolis Jazz Foundation presents the Indy Jazz Fest, a beloved tradition for over 25 years, gathering a vibrant community of musicians, fans, and supporters. In 2024, the Fest will take place on September 16-28. The Indy Jazz Fest is more than just a music festival. It's a celebration of our community and culture, a testament to the power of jazz to unite and inspire. This year, we're bringing the best in local, regional, and national jazz performances to Indianapolis, showcasing the diversity and richness of this art form in a variety of venues across the city. With a lineup of performances, workshops, school concerts, master classes, and community partnerships, we aim to touch the lives of over 35,000 people. For more information, visit www.indyjazzfest.net
