AZEI is an independent national platform accelerating Indonesia’s net-zero transition that is inclusive, credible, and aligned with national priorities. We convene state, industry, academia, and communities so standards, markets, and policy move together — pro-growth, pro-investment, and pro-people. Founded by leaders across parliament, academia, and industry, with a multi-stakeholder council, AZEI pairs national legitimacy with independent voice. Our role is to strengthen state and private efforts with a neutral forum to align priorities, clarify rules, and expand participation. Focus areas • Policy & standards — Align national rules with VCM, JCM, and Article 6 to reinforce credibility. • Inclusion & access — Via Carbon Justice Indonesia, enable fair, verifiable participation and tangible local benefits. • MRV & registry — Promote streamlined, auditable digital MRV built to integrate with the national registry. • Public–private bridge — Host executive forums that remove investment barriers and produce outcomes. • Capacity & talent — Develop training, certification, and playbooks for government, industry, and developers. • International collaboration — Build partnerships that strengthen Indonesia’s global role and expand market access.
