About Iniciativa Hlavák, z.s.

Poskytujeme první psychickou pomoc a a humanitární materiální pomoc. We are a non-governmental non-profit organization that brings together volunteers to help refugees and migrants. Since 2015, we have been helping people who are forced to leave their homes for various reasons, for whom the connecting element is the journey through Prague's Main Railway Station. For 7 years we operated as an informal grassroots volunteer group without an established legal entity. In 2022 we transitioned to a registered association following our experience of operating in a crisis regime within the refugee wave associated with the war in Ukraine and with the secondary migration of Syrian refugees. We help all refugees without distinction, we do not judge their decisions, we crete a safe space for them to make informed decisions while informing them about their rights. We provide first psychological aid and humanitarian material aid.
