About Initiate Lebanon

Welcome to Initiate, an inspiration for hope and empowerment in Lebanon. Established in 2011, Initiate is a registered Lebanese Non-Governmental Organization (Registration No. 86) founded by a dedicated group of dynamic youth volunteers. Driven by a profound commitment to make a positive impact, our founders rallied their efforts to secure funds and support from both international and local donors. This collective initiative was ignited by the urgent need to aid and uplift refugees in the wake of the crisis. Since our inception, Initiate has remained committed in its mission, successfully navigating the complexities of humanitarian work. We aspire to cultivate environments where women and youth can thrive with dignity. Through an array of carefully crafted projects and programs, Initiate seeks to foster collaboration and joint action platforms between refugees and local communities across Lebanon. At Initiate, we believe in the transformative power of community-driven change. Through our solid dedication and the support of our partners, we have been able to serve, support, and implement diverse initiatives that go beyond addressing immediate needs.
