About Initiative for Research, Innovation and Advocacy in Development

Registered December 2019, the Initiative for Research, Innovation, and Advocacy in Development (IRIAD) is an interdisciplinary knowledge, policy, and advocacy hub committed to developing a critical understanding of governance processes and regimes through research, documentation, policy engagement, public education, and impact advocacy. Whilst promoting and encouraging active citizenship through citizens' engagement, participation, and representation in democratic governance. Our mission is to strengthen governance and accountability in Nigeria through knowledge production, innovation and impact advocacy. Our vision is to be a knowledge and innovation centre for ethical governance and just development. Our values are knowledge-exchange, inclusion, justice, equity, transparency and accountability.
