About Inovativne Medicinske Terapije

The Association for Innovative Medical Therapies was founded in March 2020. We organize activities to improve therapy in medicine through the organization of CME, conferences, gatherings and congresses of health professionals and associates. The idea for founding the association came from the need to make the current development of new drugs available to the medical profession, which has undergone a revolution in the last decade. After several decades of slow development of new drugs for existing diseases, with the application of innovative biological therapies, we have entered a new era of medicine - the era of biological drugs that are increasingly replacing drugs obtained by chemical synthesis. Good examples are new targeted and immunological therapies for cancer treatment. These therapies are extremely effective and safe to use, and prolong the survival of patients with advanced metastases for over 4 years or more. It is also necessary to emphasize the development of new drugs obtained by chemical synthesis.
